Stories from our Streets is a project based in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, with the aim of recording and compiling ordinary and extraordinary stories from everyday people. We’re looking for groups and individuals who’d like to take part and play an important role by contributing stories as a way of connecting us with each other and helping to establish an identity for BCP, based on tales from the people who live and work in the area. No writing experience is necessary. We’ll help with story-telling craft, offering skills to help shape and share your words in professional ways.

This community-based storytelling project is led by ArtfulScribe in partnership with BCP Council, BCP Libraries, Bournemouth University, and Arts University Bournemouth and supported with funding from Arts Council England.
